Tube fares up 4.6% in 2025
It’s going to be cheaper to drive into London soon.
Awful sh*t service, sh*t trains, sh*t stations, constant strikes, delays and signal failures and that’s already the most expensive metro in the world.
Totally justified increase. f*** u TFL!!

Fares have not gone up for years. Tubes are generally very reliable from my experience

In my view everything you’ve listed here applies to the train services in this country but not the tube.
Just my 2p but I think the general reliability of the tube has improved over the past few years

With this increase, maybe Khan can find some money to paint the station serving the Hamlet of Hornchurch and others in the area. Though I suppose fitting lifts into the lift shafts that are there, to make the station fully accessible, is beyond that as Hornchurch is in an area with a Conservative MP, Conservative Member of London Assembly, Conservative MEP & with a Residents Association Minority Administration in Havering.
And before anyone says why doesn't Havering Council paint the station, it's offered to but Khan said no, it's TFL's responsibility. But Khan can spend upwards of £6M on new signs and paint for the Overground Lines. Total waste of time and money, that vanity project.

It was not a waste of money, we had several lines all called 'overground' which were in fact a load of different lines, it had to be done at some point.
Hornchurch station is functional. If there are lift shafts, they must be behind the stairs? So how are people going to walk through some stairs? Sounds like a costly project.
