A 12:30 kick off in the middle of December against Burton resulting in a 0-0 draw. Absolute dross.

If we had nicked a goal from few of those chances towards what a different story. Have seen much worse games, can’t tell you what they were because they were totally forgettable. Another clean sheet against a team with a very organised defence.

Attendances dropping well short of capacity on a Saturday.

Not the best game by a long stretch but absolutely nowhere near the most forgettable. We've all seen much, much worse/less noteworthy.

I would assume by the opening post that they have only been supporting the O's for 2 weeks

Nowhere near the worst game ever! My worst one was away at Dover in the 18/19 season....unsurprisingly 0-0. Most BORING game I have ever seen us play!

Not one for the annuals but there have been far worse.
In recent memory, the 0-0 against Port Vale in February took some beating.

Bromley away, 1st season in the NL, struck me as the worst.

Was u not at Stevenage away last month. It took 92 mins for our first shot from a tom James free kick and that was it.
Stevenage are a dirty boring team who love to defend and that games was the worse of the season.

Although if you're citing this as an example, it's obviously not been forgotten.

Wasn't exactly forgettable.
Just one you'd like to forget

Op hasn’t said it was the worst game. Just that it was forgettable. And I totally get that - it was dull as. Credit Burton for that, they achieved what they came for.
Richie done the decent thing by keeping both Perkins and Donley in the starting line up but they’ll be back out after their showings today.

Correct. Worst and most forgettable are not the same thing. This fixture had a combination of elements to make it especially dull:
1. Middle of December: a time in the season where results don’t really have immediate noticeable impact
2. Burton have barely any travelling fans. (Or barely any fans full stop). Combine that with the low home attendance (likely due to stupid kick off time) and there was no atmosphere
3. Burton didn’t have a single player I recognised. I’m sure one or two of them have played against us before but nobody I can remember and certainly nobody you’d take a passing interest at
4. The match itself was just boring. The only things I noted were their number 20 actually politely said thank you to a home fan after they passed him the ball to take a throw in. Same guy later nearly got his head smashed off by a Tom James cross. We hit the bar but I think it was nearly an own goal.

Quite right, it was much worse than Burton. And probably the worst performance for quite a few seasons.

They paid quite a lot in the summer on fees, particularly Crawley top scorer

Until the 99th minute, vs Oldham in the FA Cup, season 24/25 closely followed by losing to Swindon 4-1 at home in the "Liverani" season i.e. 14/15.

TBF “most forgettable” is an impossible one to opine on, as all of the most forgettable matches have been forgotten.
