Can We Send Players back Mid-Loan ??

Post by Cheshunto »

Or are we stuck with them until the end of the season ??
Perkins for example, was awful tonight, it was almost like we started with 10 players,
Donley was nowhere to be seen, maybe he’s injured……..

Feel sorry for Jordan Graham, but I can’t see him coming back, so sad.
We desperately need some creativity in midfield, and as everyone knows a decent striker who knows where the back of the net is.

Saturday’s prize money could be very useful if it helps bring in new recruits, but Oldham will be no pushovers , 4-0 winners to and 4th in the National League.

Donley looks poo poo so far but with Theo and Graham out we can’t really afford to send him back, nor Perkins. But wouldn’t be sad to see them go back in Jan

I guess Hemming will head back to Boro in January. He won’t get a game unless Keeley gets injured and Boro won’t want him not getting game time. I think they’ll arrange something that will allow him to leave, it’s for the best.

I think we are going to see some significant changes in the January window, the bod don’t want to see us get relegated, makes getting in new investors even more of an uphill struggle.
Hemming & Donley will go back
Jury out on Perkins
Keeley to be signed
That frees up up to 4 new loan players
I expect several permanent players in, need at least one winger, preferably two, another forward, preferably two, several midfielders.
Expect a few players to leave/be loaned out
They’re going to either smash the budget or sell the family silver, namely Galbraith, to fund it.
RW then has to blend the team & find the required number of points to avoid the drop.

Yes, that was my original question “ CAN we send any loanee back ?? “. Or are we locked into a season long loan ??
I’m not sure how the Loan market works………

On another subject, I read that the Spurs ‘keeper Vicario is injured and I hope that doesn’t mean that they can recall Josh Keeley as back up to Fraser Forster.

Got two other English keepers who are 25 and 26, so hopefully Josh is safe, bigger worry I think would be another team coming in for Keeley considering he has been impressive

Perkins pretty much anonymous.
Has ability, and RW seems to like him but lacks (or seems to lack) the fundamentals that are hard to coach e.g. aggression, determination etc etc.

The goals have masked his general anonymity in the side. Looks like one of those players that will not be able to make the jump (into league football)

Speaking of loans being cut short what's the chances we end up with Moncur returning in January? Last I heard he's already down to being a bench player at Southend.

A high probability.

Also a possible concern about Jack Currie being recalled by Oxford United . Apparently their senior left back Joe Bennett is out injured until the new year at least!😮

Currie is our best defender and If Currie goes back to Oxford in Jan, that would be disaster and the final nail in the coffin.
Seriously can’t have Sweeney back in team.
