204 votes trying to beat 411voting for Labour. I wonder how this vote for an election is going to work?

So politicians are lying, duplicitous barstewards. Surprise, surprise! As much chance of this succeeding as Musk buying the Club.

Because you don’t respect the results of an election?

I’d love to see a General Election and Labour voted out, but we live in a democracy and our version of it has given is a Labour government, which given their majority will likely be there for 4-5 years.

As with Brexit, when I saw thousands protest against it, I felt they were protesting against democracy, and similarly right now, agree of disagree with Labour, they got voted in and we live with them. so no matter how many people want another election soon, it’s not going to happen, just accept it.

I cannot recall a β€˜honeymoon period’ ever being so bad.

Exactly the same nonsense when the "rejoin the EU" petition reached 1 mill, then 2 mill, and so on up to about 5.

Yeah but this is where the idea for this petition has come from . All thanks to you Remoaner's. In true EU style , we want another election because we didn't know what we were voting for . :D

In four or five years time . You Remoaner's can have another referendum in 40 years time . That's the same length of time leavers had to wait from the previous referendum .
