Nigel was there pre match with a wreath. He needs more support. Where was Kent? Coley? Porter?

Kent & Coley have been on the sauce all week celebrating since Tuesday, don't know about Porter.

Porter sponsored the match I think, so probably elsewhere.

That was Nigel’s first ever direct involvement, no?

Parry was thinking about the lost millions, right enough

Doing what they wanted.

It is none of our business , Nigel was there and Kent may have been in USA it’s quite a long journey when he comes to see a game.

For God’s sake get off their backs and appreciate what they have done.

Lost interest, understandably. It’s fun when things are going well but not quite so much when they’re not.

Nigel is one of us. He’s a genuine fan, knows no different, and has no choice but to support the club.

The other owners/investors don’t have that. However much excitement they demonstrate initially - and I’m sure it’s genuine - it doesn’t last. It’s not just the owners that it happens to, think of the amount of ordinary (although somewhat ‘Super’) fans who have found the club late, come in and made a lot of noise, then slunk away elsewhere.

OFF has started going to watch Dulwich Hamlet too?

The problem for Orient is that it isn't just about losing the interest of Johnny-come-lately fans, but also some longer-serving fans have drifted away too. A trip to a Walthamstow FC game will reveal many familiar faces.

Longer serving perhaps but they still came from other clubs, later in life.

If you’ve already drifted to Orient from another club, it’s understandable you’ll drift off to another club even further down the food chain when times aren’t great.

Some of us - like Nigel - don’t have that option.

I believe I know who you are referring to and that is a prime example.

Has Doug taken over their supporter's trust yet and plundered its funds to make a huge banner with his face on it?

Not going to knock Teague at all for this - he's the only one who's crystallised any of his losses, and is perfectly entitled to slink quietly away if that's what he wants to do. God knows I've felt like doing it enough times. He doesn't need to dress up as a giant poppy and do a dance on the pitch to prove anything IMVHO. Besides, maybe he was attending a Veterans Day event back home - how many Americans were at the Somme?

Kind of relevant: how many people slapped the unmentionable one’s hand when he ran around the perimeter of the pitch following a rare victory? Who was it he publicly kicked up the arse? Was it Hesentaler?

Not knocking him at all, nor any fan that comes and subsequently goes. It’s totally understandable, as I said.

I’m just envious I can’t 😃

There were definitely a fair few people who, for a surprisingly long time, definitely enjoyed photo opportunities with the rich man and treated it all as bantz

You really are a sad individual. Whilst maybe not having in initial interest, they may be genuine supporters now, you don't know, everybody has to start somewhere. Now sure many fans would traverse the ocean every week to support their team. As for fans slinking away, I don't blame them if the
only thanks they get is this type of negativity.

You are probably right; might be worth old Bill popping over there then.
