Spotted solar panels on the north and east stands yesterday. Hadn’t seen them before. Anyone knows when were they installed?

So many of them as well, doesn’t seem like the sort of thing you’d spend money if you were seriously looking for a new ground in the next few years.

The payback period on them is supposed to be under 5 years, we won't move for another ten years minimum.

It’s been ten years away for about 3 years now.

They’re not cemented in.

They’re not cemented in.
No they’re not, but you wouldn’t generally take them with you as the technology is improving rapidly and these ones will likely be somewhat obsolete in a few years

Some fans were moaning this cost reduced the playing budget, but that's nonsense. The playing budget is entirely independent of the CAPEX, which will generate a return in a few years.
