623rd appearance, takes him above Paul Merson into 173rd place. Last night showed how invaluable he’s been for us. Could have even scored, although if he never did again, I will be forever thankful for that goal at Stockport.

But last night was his first appearance as a linebacker!
Wait for the highlights and watch Pratley. Takes 4 of them out (almost certainly from an offside position) allowing Happe the freedom to score. Deserved MOTM for that sole action. Its wat Stevenage defenders were going mad about!

Said the other day he’s worth a go simply for his experience, his encouraging attitude and that he sticks his foot in. Just a shame he probably can’t do it Saturday Tuesday anymore. A

The Rotherham players weren’t happy either.

He’s good for certain types of games. Last night was right up his street. Stick him in the ice tank and roll him back out for Stevenage.

Apparently, Pratters takes an ice bath every night (that's what he says) so no need to worry about sticking him in the ice tank!

still a way to go to catch Scott McGliesh.
think he holds a record as an outfield player.

Darren Pratley is my type of player 100% committed and inspirational to his team mates, a real leader and could become a top manager. He must have been a hell of a player when he was younger !

I agree. I am surprised that this was his first league start of the season.

Stevenage, Rotherham - they all play the same!

I'd start him every game, even if he has to come off at half-time. He is a fantastic advertisement for a experienced model pro. Best thing Jackett did for us was sign him.
