Here. All associated match posts, brain farts, whining and general buffoonery here.

Excepting Faith and his fresh legs of course.

Presumably we have learned not to make knee jerk decisions based on small sample sizes.

Don't know. How many other variables were there in the games you're talking about that we didn't score in?

As a formation it can work if you have the players to pkay it, we dont. I wonder if we would have won the league if we had played 532 all season.

JMD dropped is a bit knee jerk.... Probably our most creative player and a threat on free kicks. Two quiet games so far but who hasn't been quiet?

Is Brophy going to be better than him as number 10? More pace but less quality. Let's hope he can make something happen today.

Feel this line up is a bit easy to play against....sides might be happy to allow us a lot of the ball as we won't really penetrate down the wings and the two holding mids are unlikely to do damage.

That restricts us to either set pieces or a lucky bounce (both of which led to the goal against Cheltenham).

I'd rather that Broph started on the left. Because of his position he is key today and needs to have a good game.

Hopefully we will set out to attack at pace, I feel Stevenage might be happy with a point.

Yeah, I don't see why we don't play Brophy on the left more often and was also suprised at JMD being dropped.

Why? Because someone else said it was? Teams make selection changes for a number of reasons. I don't agree with the decision on paper but that doesn't mean it's a knee jerk one.

352 was guaranteed. Brophy for JMD makes sense. The former has done very little whilst Brophy add creativity. Widdowson back. Always gonna happen

Hope it works

I dunno about that. If JMD was dropped then surely Dennis would be the most likely replacement. Think there is something tactical in this.

So changes can be made on a small sample size after all to suit the situation. Who would've thought it...

Don't think it's really the formation but how we set up....needs to be a change in approach today.

I'm confident it'll be a faster tempo today although not sure if we have the players to do it against a better team.

Situational changes are very different from knee jerk reactions. I dont know why that is difficult for you to understand. But it doesn't suprise me that you don't.

I understand perfectly well, it's you who likes to try and get smug about it... return to sender

And in other news Brill sets Angol off on an attack with a pinpoint long diagonal ball. He cuts inside but shot blocked for a corner.

If you understand it then why are you comparing an individual plug and play change to a change in how the whole team sets up. Do you not get the difference between the two?
