That's a caste iron fact . I don't blame Richie for our position . I blame the clubs board for not backing him properly in the transfer market .Hoover Attack wrote: ↑Mon Oct 21, 2024 10:10 am If he does go, Lingy won’t ever appoint a better manager.

What, 2 seasons?Long slender neck wrote: ↑Mon Oct 21, 2024 10:48 am Has to go if he cant turn it around. Most managers go stale over time.
Richie is one of the best managers we've ever had . With the right backing and time I'm sure he'll sort things out . Like I said earlier, I put the blame squarely on the clubs board . We wouldn't complete in the transfer market during the Summer and went cheap . Now we're paying the consequences of that policy .Long slender neck wrote: ↑Mon Oct 21, 2024 10:48 am Has to go if he cant turn it around. Most managers go stale over time.
Richie has been given the maximum amount of money the owners can afford. The trouble is there are around 14 clubs in this division that are run with wealthier backers. Don’t forget we are losing 3-4 million each year. That cannot go on with the current board. We desperately need more backers if we are to retain our position in L1. A few years ago nobody thought we would be in L1 with an ambitious manager like RW . Unfortunately we cannot reach his expectations without getting in additional backers. Perhaps West Ham could help us out by ground sharing for free that would bring in additional fans and at the same time enable us to look to building a new stadium within the borough. Just a thought!RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 21, 2024 10:35 amThat's a caste iron fact . I don't blame Richie for our position . Indeed, who better to get you back out of League 2 than Richie.Rich Tea Wellin wrote: ↑Tue Oct 22, 2024 4:11 pm but I don’t think we’d get rid even if we were relegated, and rightly so
Hoover Attack, whenever he reaches a dead end in a debate and has nothing more constructive to say, frequently finishes up by showing a tearfully funny face. So in reply to your first sentence, Red, I will make an exception by doing exactly the same......RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 21, 2024 11:02 amRichie is one of the best managers we've ever had .
