Question for the 6music dads

Trying to think of a song that a while back was played on 6 music a fair bit.

It’s stuck in my head but just out of reach. I remember that there’s a sort of low pitched woah-oh-oh that’s kind of rhythmic with a Fleet Foxes esque feel (kind of) and when the vocals come in it’s a male falsetto and it starts with something like “watch me watch me”
I vaguely remember that it’s a band that has split up, or been on hiatus or something.

I wouldn’t stake my life on it, but I’m thinking in the ball park of The Hold Steady, Band of Horses etc?

6music dad here but no idea. I’ve followed Pam’s advice and apparently you’re thinking of Pilots It’s Magic from 1974.

By the way, congratulations to Keef on playing a gig at the 100 Club.

And commiserations to the 100 Club.

Never heard that before?

Sounds like guy garvey but less verbose.
