Where have they gone

For the past couple of seasons when things were going well and rightly so,Nigal Travis and Martin Ling were giving out interviews, Podcasts left right and centre this season we have hardly seen them. Strange? I wonder if they are trying to avoid such questions such as,why was our summer signings were so bad,who chose the signings we made, why have the prices gone up so dramatically, why have club tried to infiltrate the supporters club and why does Richie keep scratching his head when interviewed most importantly how come Dulcet Dave can’t sound his R’s

Even the Q&As seem pretty pointless now as any probing questions are dodged

You can email or write to them any time if you are that desperate to have answers to your questions.
They always reply.

Brisbane road is a bit of a gloomy place at the moment. But of course it's nothing to do with our style of play, it's all the owners fault.

It’s actually the unrealistic, negative fans.

Shouldn't have the board promising them "exciting signings" then...

What would you expect them to say in promotional materials? "
We're going to make some average-to-mediocre signings!"?

So you are happy with the results we are getting especially that we can’t win at home and can’t score goals. Yep that’s what I bought my ST for. Then they have the audacity to want to give me £10 if I can’t make the game sell that ticket on for £30 and put my £10 towards next season. They having a laugh. Can’t think why the place is so negative atm, won’t even bother about all the sh-t signings. Yep all going great

The materials didn't mention players funny enough, the theme was about the show going on. It was an NT interview where he dropped that line.

I get the point but also, our fanbase needs to grow up!
“Nigel said exciting signings so now I’m going to throw a tantrum because we didn’t sign some aging striker who scored 3 premier league goals 6 years ago”

Nothing unrealistic in expecting the odd home win I would have thought?

I think the board have taken the absolute piss this season with the fans and I hope they realise that.
But that’s a different issue to the playing side. I think Ling has reached his capacity. But I also can see that this squad is better than the sun of the results and the panic after ten games is childish, indulgent, entitled and a bit mental. Trust the manager, trust the players, be a positive influence as a fan on those things

This.
As already said, if we'd won 2 at home rather than away, the reaction wouldn't be like this.

Feels like recruitment has been poor - Ling
The team are under performing - RW
The board haven't found additional investors - NT
Home games are quiet - Fans
We are looking like a bottom 6 team, very worrying...and attendences bear this out.
We are going to need to scrap for points. Club needs to stay up this season and have a full reset...

Maybe they've been hounded out by ungrateful fans.
Although you could say that ungrateful fans are being hounded out by them.

In some ways if RW manages to keep us up it would be more successful than winning the league. I’m just not sure who to blame at the moment Wellens(if he’s picked the players) or the board ( for not giving him enough funds to at least get a couple of first choices)? Even at this stage things look grim

Whatever happens there will definitely be a reset on the playing side. With 6 loanees and multiple out of contract that's 10+ players needing to be brought in.

It will be interesting to see what the club do with regard to the pricing of season tickets come May next year, regardless of which league we’re in. ( I think RW will keep us up , but just my opinion)
The International Breaks will mean very few Saturday 3pm kick offs, and many fans find Tuesday night game’s difficult to attend for a variety of reasons hence the far lower crowds……….plus the fact that Sky or VPN holders can watch from home in comfort.
I think many will think long and hard about renewing next season.

See 1 and 2 above if you want an explanation for 4.

And that's a problem when we want to be building a team to challenge for promotion. Most successful teams are built over a few seasons
