Been given it a thought about our inability up front and think I may have the answer

Can’t
Up to your usual standards. He's not the quickest is he, in pure speed or decision making. Barmy idea.Monkey Boy wrote: ↑Wed Oct 02, 2024 2:00 pm Now before you start reaching for your keyboards please read on. This is by no means a permanent answer but something worth trying at least to the nextwindow. The consensus of opinion on here is that we are definitely missing a front man. My suggestion is Beckles. Why him? He’s good in the air,can shield a ball and can pick a pass. If you played him with either Dan A or Kelman in a front two that could work or Dan A,Becks and Kelman/Graham as a front three? I know it’s radical but imo worth a try if not only in cup comp. Yes you would loose him from the back but if and when Happe returnsI really don’t think we have that many options if truth is known.
No wind up LSN and I haven’t lost it. We need someone to hold the ball up and can win the ball in the air both of which he’s capable,no he’s not the quickest granted however we need someone who can bring the oncoming midfield into play. If I were a CB I wouldn’t like to mark Beckles he’s all arms and legs and we haven’t got anyone like that. As I said not a permanent solution
As if I pay any attention to you but I don’t see you coming forward with any football ideas just your usual personal cowardly abuseBoniO wrote: ↑Wed Oct 02, 2024 2:03 pmUp to your usual standards. You are so funny! It's a barmy idea. I actually wasted time explaining why. Please point out the abuse part.Monkey Boy wrote: ↑Wed Oct 02, 2024 2:23 pmAs if I pay any attention to you but I don’t see you coming forward with any football ideas just your usual personal cowardly abuseBoniO wrote: ↑Wed Oct 02, 2024 2:03 pmUp to your usual standards. Rich Tea Wellin wrote: ↑Wed Oct 02, 2024 4:17 pm Tbf Beckles is the best player we have at losing their man so could be useful in the other box
Perhaps we can coax Brian Saah out of retirement/his academy role, and convert him to a striker instead. He was a slightly gangly defender who looked occassionally troubled when confronted with the ball so he ticks all the boxes.Monkey Boy wrote: ↑Wed Oct 02, 2024 2:00 pm Now before you start reaching for your keyboards please read on.
