Please don’t waste time with this project. Plenty of room for the plethora of Tuesday night games serving up this tripe.

Agreed it was poor - but its what the stay away thousands deserve IMO. I went and they played about as well as the crowd turned up.

Once all the late comers had arrived I reckon the gate was about 4,500.

Tuesday night games are killing lower league football. You immediately lose a decent percentage of the Saturday gate because kids can’t attend. I have three grandchildren season tickets and I am paying for season tickets that they can’t use

Sounds like a foolish purchase

That's harsh . I'm a season ticket holder but can't make mid week games due to work commitment's . I still buy a season ticket because it makes things more convenient for me and to help the club .I do that even though I know I'll have trouble getting to those mid week games . Therefore even though I wasn't there last night I wouldn't say I " deserved that performance ". In fact this morning I feel very disappointed about last night . I thought we could at least get a draw . Anyway, such is life being an Orient supporter . On to the next game and hopefully 3 points .

Sounds like a foolish comment. Couldn’t foresee international Saturday cancellations. And it doesn’t address the point I was making

100% This
The actual attendance last night was nearer 4,600 rather than the 6419 reported
I’ll think long and hard about a season ticket for next season

There has to be Tuesday games to complete a season. Our problem is every International weekend is falling when we are at home. If it was for away games there would be no problem

Agreed. It’s a little unfortunate and seems to be how our luck is this season so far

RD I understand your personal position and respect it. My comment was a wider one and my own group of pals illustrates the wider point. There are 13 of us. We happen to have 4 on holiday abroad so its 9. Only 5 turn up. 2 live in Rayleigh but would be there if we had been in the top 6 and another cited the rain as a reason. The 4th decided to opt out (he usually travels with the 3rd opt out). So we end up with 5 from 13. This was replicated across the ground and Exeter's 600 contribution made a far greater contribution than you'd expect at our place as a result. Our crowd have a prt to play in the sides performance and last nights crowd performance was on a par with the teams.

Many people (OK, not so many as now) would still be peed off if away games got moved too. A smaller problem maybe, but still a problem.

Or lower the entrance fee but with an incentives get a free program and meet the players before the game

Don’t think 6000 fans could meet the players

More about lost revenue though isn’t it?

I like this idea. I can present Kelman with a banjo & see if he can hit a cow’s/Ling’s arse with it…

Leave it at £35 but make all the bars free - all you can drink. We could be the first fully inclusive football club. Even beer monsters aren't going to be able to down more than £10-£15 worth (at cost)

I like it when the crowd is small. Makes you feel like you’re part of a special little club of true fans. Plus you don’t get annoying idiots getting up to buy beer and hot dogs every 10 minutes or sitting there talking about their favourite cheese from Yardarm instead of paying attention to the match.
