Parking

Post by Crisby »

Here's an idea. There needs to be somewhere to park near the ground. Loads of people would drive as it's cheaper than the train. Somewhere within 15 mins of a walk to the ground. eg. Spitalfields market
A bus service could be provided for people with difficulties
Space for 200 -300 cars at ca.£5-£10* each, *wash included.

Genius or what?

You would be if the club hadn't already explored this.

Because large empty spaces suitable for parking hundreds of vehicles are easy and cheap to come by in zone 2….

Cheaper than the train? Maybe if someone has given you a new car.

So how much is it going to be to use this land?
And you'd be taking £2-3k in parking fees about once a fortnight?
How much in staff costs?
How much in bus costs?
And you're going to wash the cars?

Spitalfields was great, nice and close by and basically free income for a space that wasn't being used. City of London getting busy put an end to it, no I don't want to use public transport especially with top trains being a total ripoff
