As one of the most deeply uncool people on earth, I can confirm this list is accurate, as I have never been to any of them (except Leyton, natch).

St Pauls in Bristol at No.6. It's been a while since I've been there but "cool" would not be the adjective I'd have used to describe it.

Doesn't cool just mean - once edgy, now full of yuppies, but not yet as expensive as Hackney

Done Leyton and Strathbungo (No 22) on the list so I'm uncool too but slightly less than you.

Grew up in the Bungo. Only got cool when I left in the late 70s.

I find it hard to believe that Strathbungo is a real place

It's real and close to Crossmyloof which is also a pretty fabulous name

My comment online about the article:
Cared to omit the omnipresent toxic atmosphere on the air where it feels it’s always about to kick off. Whether by the tube, on the High Road and in certain crackhead and dealer hotspots or where young gang members hang around malevolently.
I love Leyton more than I can say but like a lot of inner-residential London, it is not ‘cool’ and I would never dream of raising children here.
(I live here)
