Can someone clarify for me the current process on match days? Is the swipe station thing still a thing? Do you have to use it? Can you just queue and pay as normal.
Thanks (and for all the non helpful replies - why did you bother?)

Nigel, Kent, Richie and Mark Devlin all take a stand each and between 1.30-2pm you have to pay one of them for a voucher (cash only). They give you food and drink vouchers which are worth half of what you paid for them to spend in the ground. They also run a UV light over your hands to ensure there's no traces of garlic mayo from 5 lads and can get a bit shirty if anything shows up.
Good luck.

AFAIK you can queue as normal but you have to pay by card for everything except the match programme.

Can anyone explain to me why they take the tops off the bottles of water making it impossible to drink during game without knocking it over , pathetic, being treated like kids !

Mainly for 2 reasons;
1) they make less effective missiles when thrown
2) should the stadium need to be evacuated in an emergency the bottles with a lid on arenβt a trip hazard as a lidless bottle will just collapse under foot

Funny thing is that bottles of drink bought nowadays come with the tops attached by a piece of plastic, something to make them more environmentally friendly I think
