Mansfield Match Domestic Video-Stream - great idea

What a great idea, just spent £10 on a pass - well done to the Club! Lots of thoughts about it...

- Wonder if it will stop many O's from travelling?
- Would really like to know how many matches will get this treatment? Is it mid-week away only?
- Could be a good earner for the club - wonder if the cash is split with the home club?

Where have you seen this? I expected it to be available as it falls outside the UEFA blocked hours.

The really hardcore fans would likely still go anyway but it's a good way to get some untapped revenue from those who don't travel but are interested in seeing the game.

Can’t see this anywhere but did read about Tuesday games potentially being available. Will definitely tune in, get annoyed at the quality of the stream, complain and then moan on here about the performance 😁

£10 is a bit expensive. Might have bitten at £5.
Doubt it would stop many travelling.
Just outside Saturday 3pm blackout.
A contract drawn up with shares agreed and minimum payments. Not necessarily 50:50

£10 is a bit steep.

Anyone want to go halves and share the log in details?

I'm well impressed, is this another first for the O's, we seem to be well in front on the technical side for screening games

Only £2.50 a pop if you get each of your usernames to chip in.

Wonder why its more expensive for domestic audiences? Assume its exactly the same set up and costs involved and they just unblock all areas.

Either the club are just trying to make a few quid on a bigger audience or the grubby EFL insist on a cut.

It’s actually £1.66 so shows how little you know.

Is this actually legal under EU law? Probably need a legal expert for this.

If only there wad someone on this board with a modicum of legal knowledge.

10 quid is outrageous profiteering.

Shame on the club for milking us fans.

How do you know that the club are milking the fans? Unless you are privy to the contract with efl and Mansfield.

I actually think that the club is getting a similar amount to the overseas stream per person. But the only way to find out is to ask Danny Macklin.

We probably have to pay Mansfield a cut as well, as away attendance may be lower.

Out of interest. Are any other clubs doing this?

There's an iFollow service which i think does this for several clubs already.

I tweeted the club and apparently its EFL price structure dictating the tenner.

Think the Lion and Key would need a different deal to air the game, either it would be too expensive or not available.

I think this is a good move, but while the service is plagued with technical issues I am not sure I would have gone in full price until they are guaranteed to be ironed out.

Seems most games so far have had some type of problem, people might let it lie for £5, but at £10 it's gotta be spot on.

Think the number of people watching this game might be several times higher than the ones before, so let's hope they are prepared.

I'll probably watch tomorrow but if it's a sh*t service full of issues, I wont be going back.
