Bad mistake yet again

Ladapo this is the guy we should have got from Ipswich not Ball. Let me see we have about 5 keepers, enough defenders, all the wide players are injured and umpteen midfielders all of which are mainly defencive apart from Gailbraith and nobody knows what Warrington is? Up front we have Agyei and the prolific Kelman plus a handful of sick notes. So who do they go out and bring in yet another defensive midfielder wtf. If ever a club wanted relegation this is it.We need to stop letting goals in but more importantly we need to score more than the opponent and we are not going to do that by signing more midfielders. Think RW and the club are loosing the plot. Yeah yeah I know the happy clappers will be typing there little fingers off,but do I careπŸ˜‚

Sounds like you care. Why don’t you just start one thread where you can share all your musings about who we should and shouldn’t sign?

Also 3 goals in 31 games last season. Sounds like the answer to all our problems is Ladapo!

Most of those appearances were as sub so get your facts right,Kelman last season 2 goals for Wigan they soon got rid of him as are QPR I would take him over Kelman any day of the week plus Huddersfield have now signed him on a two year deal so he must be rubbish according to you. You really don’t know your football do you? Still Christmas is coming you can watch the dartsπŸ‘

For once I'll stick up for the club, a 31 year old who would've been on good money, whose game is built on pace and scored two league goals last season, hard pass. He is a London boy but the money probably won't be there but if Dwight Gayle fancied a year, would be well worth a go.

Ladapo, 2018,18 goals,2019,34 goals,22/24 season 19 goals that’s 8 more than our top scorer last season.

Warrington is a 6 (CDM/defensive midfielder) who can sit in front of the defence. He was our only one.

Brown can do it but is better served slightly further forward as an 8.

Pratley is an 8.

Obeiro can play anywhere but is an 8.

Galbraith can play anywhere but is an 8, possibly a 10.

Donley is a 10 all day long but could do a job as an 8.

Warrington has been deemed not ready/good enough so we needed someone - ideally experienced - in this role.

He is a player on the wane, 2018 was six years ago, Bonne was a good player back then, Ladapo is not the answer.

Hang on, which Ladapo are we talking about? Because this guy, who was at Ipswich at the same time, did not score 34 goals in 2019. He scored 34 goals in 2 and a half seasons between 2019 and 2022. Not terrible by any stretch, but let's at least be honest.

Can be beaten but four 9’s is better. A royal flush would be great but not sure if we have a queen.

All this talk of 6 and 8 and yet all the best defensive midfielders I remember wore the 4... glad I'm not going mad and someone else wrote about it too!

We need a left field type of signing up top.

McLeish , Lisbie, Simba that sort of signing.

(We’ve had a few failures over the years too, Cureton, Mooney 2nd time, that ex Luton player that became a pundit).
