He will score loads of goals for them. I thought he as 32 or 33 years old, but still only 28
.
Good luck Macca.
Home debut against Sutton on Saturday
.

How the "mighty" have fallen. Apart from a purple patch when he first went back to Ipswich, can't seem to score for toffees, what's gone wrong? Perhaps he'll get his mojo back in the NL. I wish him luck.

So the Shrimpers aren’t broke any more (again) presumably?

Under new ownership, finally got rid of Ron Martin.
They've even got a new scoreboard don't you know.

Indeed , he knows Sutton very well . He'll be hoping to carrying on scoring against them on Saturday . I have to say this is a very good signing for Southend . Along with Moncur he'll certainly do a job for them .

That’s not true though, is it?

Totally overrated player. I'll tell you one thing, he couldn't put away half chances for toffee!

Never a Championship standard player but should have carved out a very decent L1/ L2 career.
Something has obviously gone wrong for him to end up in NL at 28. I hope Maher is able to sort him out.

To be honest I don't think much did 'go wrong for him'. He's just that sort of player who had a phase when things went right for him. (Apart from his instinctive reactions in front of goal, that is)

Pretty sure a lot of people on here were whining that Ling failed to bring him back.

Something off-field has clearly happened. He did well enough at L1 level after leaving us to (mistakenly) attract interest from the Championship.

Well, I don't really think so... but there you go, we'll leave it at that.

But after a successful season in NL with us, he did well enough in his first season in L1 to secure a Championship move - that happened, you can't just leave that.

Well, I wanted to leave it at that unless of course you want it to go on and on.

Oh you meant you wanted to have the final word? Sorry.
I can't let that happen when you're so clearly wrong. Let's leave it at that.

All I was more or less saying is that you have your opinion that i am wrong about Bonne and i have mine that you are clearly wrong ...stalemate. But then your childish mind got to work about having the last say.

The fact he did well enough in L1 with Charlton to earn a move to the Championship isn’t an opinion though, it’s a fact.
But agreed, let’s leave it there

Can't quite, just yet. The 'opinion' bit was about Bonne's overall rating as a player, which I think you know.
It wasn't specifically about how well he did with Charlton..
