Next Four Games

Our programme isn't getting much easier in September with matches against Reading, Stockport, Peterborough and Wrexham to come. I think that we could beat Peterborough but can't see us getting anything out of the other three. Things do look a bit easier in October and November though.

I've lost confidence in this current group of players so I can see us losing all four . I agree from November things look a bit easier but Shrewsbury proved that means nothing .

Thought Peterborough were a decent side when we played them last season.

3 points this month if we're lucky.

All depends how the new keeper fares...

Who’s in goal? Hemming = nil points.

Stockport have just lost their highly rated assistant manager so they might not be as formidable when we play them
I agree that these games are tough but I think we can get 6pts in September

I really wish I could share your optimism

Sort the goalie out and we’re motoring. Reckon we’ll go unbeaten. Draw on Saturday (aka Blackpool last season), then performance at Brentford will be the springboard going forward.

Anyone would think next 4 was Arsenal, Man City Liverpool , spurs or something.
It’s Reading, Stockport, Wrexham & Posh ffs!

I'm genuinely interested upon what basis do boarders think we will suddenly turn into a team that wins games, when all I have to go in is the previous 4 games which we have lost.
We have a team full of under quality players, who are never going to make the grade ( Perkins DJ etc ), so I can't see any reason why results will change.
Perhaps if Jordan Graham were to come back & manage to stay fit for 6 months, we may improve a teeny bit, but till then, I can't see any different scenarios

Some boarders have rose tinted specs on full time !

Need some bold selection decisions from Richie dropping a few who haven't performed and getting a bit more nous in the team (Pratley) and even then I don't fancy our chances against the likes of Wrexham with our current defensive record.

Hopefully wrong but only seeing 1pt from the next 4 games, come on Orient, do the reverse Jonah please

Would obviously love to be proved wrong, but really struggling to see how we will out-score these teams, as even when we've played well it's not like we've been peppering their goal.

Maybe 10 men behind the ball and hope for nil-nil's will be the way (hope not).

Wrexham will be our cup final so expect an improved performance, but an Ollie Palmer hattrick.

Can't really understand this one, there's bigger and better teams in this league than Wrexham. If anything we've already played the big one against Birmingham. Celebrity owners aside Wrexham are just another newly promoted League 1 side.

We have a good record against Wrexham and I expect that to continue

Because despite having lost 4 league games we've played 3 of the better teams in the division, played alright in them and have mainly lost due to basic mistakes that can be fixed. We need to get a win pretty quickly to get some momentum going, but had a pretty similar start last season and turned it around.

But we had El-Miz last season and he's already proven to be a big miss for us .

Brutal, just imagine thinking you're off to Madrid and finding out you've got to go back to Stockport.
