Ron Yeats
Just read that Ron Yeats has died,he was a member of the Liverpool team that won the second division title in 62 and guess who came second. Yes sports fans it was us Now for the younger boarders on here this is a question for you. Which team went on to win numerous amount of English and European titles and increased there ground capacity and which team descended into the lower leagues and decreased there ground capacity? It’s a tuff question I know but if you wait patiently I will tell you the answer if we beat Reading next week or when we win our next game

Re: Ron Yeats
The Liverpool FC manager Bill Shankly invited the press to take a walk around his new 'colossus,' later declaring: “With him in defence we could play Arthur Askey [an English comedian] in goal!” Yeats was also given two nicknames. He was known as 'Big Ron/Big Ronnie', to distinguish him from team-mate Ronnie Moran, but was also called 'Rowdy' by Liverpool FC supporters after the character Rowdy Yates, played by Clint Eastwood in the TV series Rawhide.
