Yes I know he's recovering from a serious injury and it takes time but I wonder when he'll be back , I really think he'll make a difference when it happens , anybody heard how he's doing .

Your be lucky like I’ve said before Ron to get 6 games out of him this season, one of Lings Stoke Mandeville signings think Theo will be the same unfortunately who imo we miss badly
I know but I think he’s just one of those players that are made of glass. That’s why he didn’t get a bigger club they all done their due diligence on him
It’s been 10 days all season
Same old O’s , sick notes, freebies and loans.Monkey Boy wrote: ↑Thu Sep 05, 2024 10:50 amYour be lucky like I’ve said before Ron to get 6 games out of him this season, one of Lings Stoke Mandeville signings think Theo will be the same unfortunately who imo we miss badly
That’s the joke

And then a full season of him being in the starting eleven in nearly every game..............well ok to dream isnt it.
Nobody is more disappointed than me with the recruitment this Summer but even I realise we can’t compete against the likes of Birmingham, Huddersfield or Wrexham for new signings .We don’t have much choice other than to take promising youngsters on loan or take a gamble on a freebie . Saying that, we need more investment before we start sliding back down again . Personally, I’d be happy to stay in League One for a good few seasons before we mount a serious challenge for promotion . After the Beelzebub years anything but relegation would do mePoundhillO wrote: ↑Thu Sep 05, 2024 11:00 amSame old O’s , sick notes, freebies and loans.Monkey Boy wrote: ↑Thu Sep 05, 2024 10:50 amYour be lucky like I’ve said before Ron to get 6 games out of him this season, one of Lings Stoke Mandeville signings think Theo will be the same unfortunately who imo we miss badly
Just because of international breaks and the strength of our upcoming opposition, I don't think our season will get going until the end of October/November. That will seem unsatisfactory to many fans but that's what I'm preparing for. Having lost £2.5m to ensure promotion to L1, I think the board will support the management - if its felt its needed - in order to maintain our L1 status this season. Its never been lacking before and I see no reason to doubt that the support will be there if needed.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 05, 2024 1:04 pmNobody is more disappointed than me with the recruitment this Summer but even I realise we can’t compete against the likes of Birmingham, Huddersfield or Wrexham for new signings .We don’t have much choice other than to take promising youngsters on loan or take a gamble on a freebie . According to RW he won’t be fit for the Reading game.

We seemed to pick up a lot of entitled types from the NL days who "expect", based on 2 recent promotions. 4 games in ,the dummies are already being launched from their prams.
The rest of us O's fans chooose to live in the real world.

And there’s also a lot of fans who expect Orient to be challenging for automatic promotion every year.Hoover Attack wrote: ↑Fri Sep 06, 2024 9:46 amScuba Diver wrote: ↑Thu Sep 05, 2024 7:29 pmSame for me RD, I'd be content to see us stay up.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 05, 2024 1:04 pm

After a dodgy start (3 losses, wasn't it?) Richie was able to mould a team with last seasons budget into play off chasers. If we'd recruited properly in January - bringing in 1 proper L1 striker rather than 2 kids who weren't L1 ready - we may well have hobbled over the line and made the top 6.
Richie is still here. We are told that the budget is 10% higher. Therefore, whether you are a new or old fan, it is not unreasonable to expect Richie to produce the same kind of performance levels across this season as last.
Seems like we've held onto a lot of the old fans from the 'Little Leyton Orient' days who have no ambition.

Never mind a lot - I don't know a single person who 'expects' us to be finishing in the top 2 this season.
Nailed on!Hoover Attack wrote: ↑Fri Sep 06, 2024 11:32 am Ok, lets start with this forum - who is expecting us to finish in the top 2?
