I wonder if there are any other clubs in the Plaistow/East London vicinity who do not have a permanent manager?

I can think of somewhere near Plaistow
AFC and THFC player / England Legend - would be a possible fit for us - although not much more experienced than RE at this point
Probably knew RE at Spurs?

Sol Campbell was at Justin Edinburgh's memorial service

https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football ... -campbell/

Campbell being Orient manager is very feasible.

So was Glenn Hoddle Teddy Sherringham and lots of other players coaches managers etc
Why is it feasible?

Unattached, from the area, likely to want to resume managerial career and unlikely to get anything in higher leagues, would probably not expect massive salary.

(apologies I mis-read RE as JE - corrected in my earlier post)

^ that.

Feasible is not the same as "will happen".

I'd be in favour of this move, but it seems a bit early to me.

Yes, that really is a surprise . It seems strange that after keeping Macclesfield up last season and moulding a decent squad he would simply just walk away . Yes, it is feasible he could become our next manager but I doubt it . Nigel implied on the Orient Outlook Podcast that Ross will be given more time.

Of course he will be given more time, we've played 3 games.

Macclesfield have some off-field issues which I'm sure is the reason behind his decision.

Ross deserves More time in my opinion
But maybe he’s had enough already
Mind you, I’m not sure that Campbell is the experienced Manager that we may need by October or November as wasn’t Macclesfield his first job as Manager ??

If Orient were lining him up, I very much doubt Macclesfield would have agreed to let him go, as they could have demanded a fee.

Yes, I'm sure that's true which I suppose would also effect the budget for the playing side as well.

Wow some guy born in Plaistow just left Football Club in the North via mutual consent used to play for Arsenal and Spurs has links with Justin Edinburgh nailed on by some he’s on his way to Leyton Orient?
He has about 9 more game experience than Ross Embleton
I don’t think so

Did very well. Macclesfield were 5 points from safety when he took over in November. Played 25 Won 7 Drew 10. Financial constraints. May not be the most experienced, but definitely inspirational.

Not sure anyone wrote it was nailed on.
