In all honesty, I think he is one is the worst loan players we've ever brought to the club.
. He looks like a fish out of water.
Did anyone at the club really think he would be a good league 1 centre forward?
The scouting at the club is beyond awful

Worst loan player ever?

I think Frank Nouble has that title.

Not seen much of him yet, lets not judge too soon.

I would not say that, a very brutal assessment of a young player, but if someone thought he ticked the boxes as you say ''a good league 1 centre forward''
Then dont know what they were thinking or seeing. I do not think that Richie is keen on traditional strong target man types of centre forward and to me, that is the type of player that we are really lacking big time in this current squad of players.

Amazingly managed to replace Edwards like-for-like by the sounds of it. The fact it's another ex-academy player that Ling likes to bring back is entirely coincidental I'm sure

Tristan Abrahams another loan attempt that had zero impact

Good touch but bad decision making and does look lost in our system. Not a great look Richie calling him out post match. Think he could turn out decent but isn’t going to add much for us this year I’m afraid

Looks like a boy trying to play mens football for the first time, which is exactly what he is.

He’s better than that Edwards last season, but nowhere near as good as that Adu-Adjei. A waste of a loan signing.

He has found his feet playing for Maidenhead United in the national league and yesterday scored two plus one assist in their 4-3 defeat to Aldershot.

He has represented England at U15-U16-18-19 level but not much experience in mens football. IMO, he needs to get stronger and perhaps a loan out to a level lower than division one.

I think he is a good footballer but doesn't have a position or purpose currently, he probably would be better off getting first team football week in week out in League Two, growing and growing, him on the bench here playing the odd minute here and there isn't really suiting anyone

Spot on and long term that is probably what will happen..............Or SHOULD happen !

Not a good signing at all. I’m sure he has a future , but for us this season , as a striker off the bench , it’s a waste we can’t afford , as we are not exactly stacked out with strikers . He looks ineffective, and it was a poor decision as we need all our players to be effective , especially off the bench

The club was unwilling or unable to compete with other league one clubs for good players . Now we're paying for it on the pitch . I'm still simmering about yesterday . I can see us losing our next three league games . That would make played 7 , lost 7.

Maybe I’m being harsh and he will come good with a bit of time. Adu Adjei also took a few games to settle then started to contribute.

Started to contribute is clutching at straws somewhat, he didn't get much better ratings than Edwards aside from that goal on the last day. A very low bar that's for sure.

Blame the club, not the player. We needed a really strong and effective centre forward, good in the air, a target men, not a slightly built youngster still finding his feet in men's football.

Seems like some people have a high opinion of Khayon Edwards.

Arsenal striker Khayon Edwards targeted by Premier League and foreign clubs ahead of potential permanent move
Arsenal striker Khayon Edwards is open to leaving the club permanently this summer.
The Hale End product, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Leyton Orient, has one year left on his current contract and Arsenal want to offer him a new deal. However, the 20-year-old is eager to test himself in senior football.
Edwards has attracted interest from Premier League and foreign clubs.
In 2022 Edwards was named on the bench for the Arsenal first-team against Bodo/Glimt and PSV in the Europa League.
Last season he received a callup to a training camp with Jamaica U23s.
