In some ways I wish they would just set up the Super League and be done with it. They are basically just creating one by stealth with these changes.

It's kind of good that the teams at the bottom of the table just get cut and don't drop down into the Europa League, turning it into a plate tournament, but the chances of that happening to any of the big teams after 8 games is almost zero.
