Both currently without a club and played in the free agents game yesterday.
Waghorn a vastly experienced centre forward who was part of Derby’s promotion squad last season. Surely worth a 1 year deal.
Jenkinson full back who played at much higher levels than league 1. From London.
Get them signed up.

there were lots of others too ie Dwight Gayle, Marcus Browne, Jamal Blackman. I suspect they can hold out and want higher wages than we can pay

Waghorn not a bad shout but at 34 would he suit Wellens press? Jenkinson I think is a right back,we desperately need a left back plus think he is a sick note and we can’t afford another. I’m sure we will sign an unused youngster or some crap player at 5 to 12 on deadline day.

''would he suit Wellens press ?'' Most likely NOT !
Looked him up on Wikipedia and last season with Derby he missed quite a few games due to the normal type of football injuries e.g ''picked up a hamstring injury which ruled him out for a month. After a brief return of three weeks, Waghorn suffered a calf injury in December 2023'' but he did manage to make 27 appearances for Derby during the season, scoring seven times as they secured promotion to the Championship after finishing second-place in the League One table. Wellens wants very fit players who can run non stop for most of the game, so dont think this forward would tick his box.

The nearer the transfer deadline we get the weaker their position . If I was in their position I would be interested in Orient if they came knocking on my door .

Players who are without a club are not affected by the transfer deadline, so they can join a football club any time of the year.

Fair enough Sid but while they are not playing they are not earning any money . Clubs have a budget so when that's used up , that's it .
