At the start of the season I’d say a manager with Wellens’ history at the club has 2 months grace. Wellens does drive me insane with some of his strange choices, which I think in a way are why he is at this level but then when you consider what he is working with, he is performing miracles the last 12 months, I would say looking back the title winning squad is a bit of an anomaly players like Vigs, Smyth, Miz,

The margins in winning football matches is small, you need a bit of luck on the day, or a special player such as quoted, that is bit above the rest to make the difference. In truth our squad is much of a muchness that works hard, was never going to be easy to replace El Miz. Not sure we now have that special player. Hopes were there that Agyei or Galbraith would step up this season, we will see. There is a wealth of talent (and equally energy) in Galbraith, Obeiro and Donnelly, backed up by ONeill.
