Sacked from the BBC for “inappropriate behaviour”
Makes a change I suppose given the policy used to be protection and a pay rise

He said immigration was a little high, disagreed with a women, cast doubt over the climate crisis. Could be many things.

BBC pay very well don't they, now I wonder where all the money comes from to pay such high wages ?
''Jenas earned £190,000 - £194,999 at the BBC for his work on the FA Cup, Match of the Day and the World Cup''

I mean, Lineker is on just over £1.1M more than that per year

The BBC has published the salaries of its highest-paid stars as part of its annual report.
Match of the Day presenter Gary Lineker is again the corporation's top earner with £1.35m, followed by Radio 2 breakfast host Zoe Ball with £950,000.
Huw Edwards, who left the BBC in April 2024 on "medical advice", saw his salary rise by £40,000.
Greg James, Stephen Nolan and Fiona Bruce also had an increase in salary.
Match of the Day presenter Alan Shearer earned £380,000, having taken home £445,000 last year.
Some famous BBC faces such as Michael McIntyre and Claudia Winkleman don't make the list as the BBC does not have to disclose the salaries of stars who are paid through production companies like BBC Studios , which is classed as a commercial entity.

There’s tens of thousands of people who work in finance and just press buttons on computers all day who earn 10 times this. There’s millions of shareholders who have done nothing at all other than be lucky enough to have capital to invest who get way more than this for doing nothing. And all of this is our money that they are siphoning.
Yet all people get worked up about is the wages of footballers, bbc presenters and union bosses. It’s almost as if there’s something to do with class going on..

Jack sh*t to do with class, BBC presenters/hierachy in general are overwhelmingly from middle to upper class backgrounds/education
The professions you mention are also not funded by the taxpayer
The assertion that there’s thousands of bods in finance who earn £10,000,000+ PA is hilarious
Also the assertion that there’s “millions” of shareholders earning “way more” than £1,300,000 a year in dividends is great
But other than the hyperbole, I agree

Millions of shareholders earn £190,000+ in dividends then?
And thousands of financial services employees are on £1,900,000 PA?
You’re still talking bollocks

Settle down. There’s clearly thousands of people in the city who earn at least a couple of million a year. Didn’t say that about shareholders.
You’re very unfriendly and aggressive for someone who agrees with me

Is it Bash the BBC time again already? Blimey it comes around earlier every year, doesn't it.
Surprised no-one's been moaning about new series Sherwood having a lesbian Sheriff of Nottingham.

You said there’s “millions of people” earning “way more” than £190K PA in dividends
If there’s “clearly thousands of people” on £1,900,000+ PA I guess you can easily post some source to validate that?
I look forward to the link, if it was just hyperbole though then it might be time to admit it

The official season actually started when they gave their employee under investigation for being a nonce a pay rise then he got convicted of being a nonce.

Yeah, but that have said that they're going to ask for it back.

Wish it was cos he was useless and his job. But that would mean they’d have to get rid of Danny Murphy, Alex Scott and Martin Keown.

Grovelling apology via The Sun (going down in estimations even further) today. As someone else pointed out: "guess that meeting with the lawyers didn't go so well then?"

And no doubt he got a hefty fee for the interview too.
Just feel sorry for his kids and missus
