They will go for someone out of work like Ryan Lowe. Doubt if they will want a manager with nil points at Orient

Chris Hughton - good shout at 33/1. Has been badly treated in the past.

Pete Wild should be given a shot at a league 1 team. Did amazing with Barrow considering their modest resources.
Wellens has just signed a new contract so he’ll cost a lot. Surely that alone will put Blackpool off.

Hopefully because if we lost Richie this season I would be lumping some money on us to get relegated

It's his team. Much bigger club than us, great potential. If they do come knocking, he won't be able to refuse.

Blackpool are a massive club, in the Premier League in recent memory and the area they’re based in would be a massive draw for any manager so I’m concerned

Blackpool were a massive club many years ago. They’ve been at the arse end of the League for as long as us over the last 40 years.

Do we need this thread every time one of his former clubs sacks a manager?

He was meant to be going to Barnsley a few moths ago. Some want to stir just for the sake of it

There is no way he will be leaving Orient at this moment in time. He is moving his family down south TODAY. ( 22 nd August)The bookies have it all wrong in making him joint fav.

I expect he may keep the house up north even if they're moving to the new one down south.

As a club Blackpool appear to be a bit shambolic at the moment. So much so that former O and defensive stalwart Ekpiteta has engineered a move to the Scotch pub league, where he plies his trade with the Edinburgh Hibernians and has sold two goals in the last two games.
Can't see Richie leaving the relative calm of the backwaters of the Englandsville 3rd Division where he has just signed a new contract with everyone's second club, Little Leyton Orient.

So you're saying we should lump on the second favourite and rinse the bookies. Nice little earner. Cheers.

I don't believe Richie will go, but If he did we deserve it
In recent years he's been offered jobs at Bradford, & Barnsley, and turned them down, showing loyalty to us, even though both of those are bigger clubs, both would have paid him more, and both are much nearer his (then ) family home.
The board here have not backed Richie for his loyalty, giving him untried youngsters.
I bet at Blackpool, they wouldn't give him Perkins or Warrington!
If I were him, I'd be gone

BBC saying Blackpool have had 6 managers in just over 5 years. Wonder if RW would relish this poisonous chalice?
