Re: Highlights Newport
Hemming's error looks even worse than I thought at the time . He just flapped at it . It' was bad goalkeeping .

Re: Highlights Newport
That was as bad as the two he let in on Saturday, RW has a huge problem on his hands and it needs sorting now.
I can’t see Hemming playing at Charlton on this form, his confidence must be shot to pieces.
If Howes is still deemed not good enough then why is he at the club ??

Re: Highlights Newport
That is hilariously bad.
The goal from Kelman tho. First blocks off the centre half to allow his teammate (Pipkin?) time, then the touch to make the angle for the finish.

Re: Highlights Newport
Oh for the days of Eldon Jakupovic or Vigoroux..they used to take goals against them as a personal affront or insult. This boy, wow.

Close defeat to promotion favourites where we should have got a result, handed a team a heavy defeat, Kelman has returned in excellent form = we're f*cked.

Re: Highlights Newport
Think it's fair enough considering it's a goal that fits a - still admittedly early - pattern of howlers from our new keeper. It didn't matter last night but more mistakes like that and we'll lose a bundle of points, as we did on Sat.

Re: Highlights Newport
I did say that Kelman had a swagger about him and was very pleased with the signing. Glad he is proving me right so far. As for Lemmings in goal, I would rather Howlers and that’s saying something.

Re: Highlights Newport
Has Kelman bulked up a bit since he was last here? He looks like he’s been on the weights.

Re: Highlights Newport
Hemming has got till the end of the transfer window max to stop the stupid mistakes & prove he’s worth a L1 place.
He’s in danger of undoing all the good work in the team we’ve built ahead of him. RW will not be pleased. Any mistakes at Charlton and he will be dropped with Howes coming in till we source a decent L1 standard keeper.

Definitely. Got a proper chest on him.The Reverend wrote: ↑Wed Aug 14, 2024 1:39 pm Has Kelman bulked up a bit since he was last here? He looks like he’s been on the weights.
It’s possibly just as much an age thing as hitting the gym. Also worth noting he hasn’t lost any pace in the process.
It’s already pretty evident Richie called this one right.

Yup, he can still move. I was dismissive of him when he re-signed but early indications are that he’s a much improved player from when he was last here.Hoover Attack wrote: ↑Wed Aug 14, 2024 1:54 pmDefinitely. He’ll get goals where CBs are dragged out of position by the likes of Agyei, DJ and OO’N leaving Kelman the space to sneak in for an easy finish. I have noticed that he does have a habit of hitting at least 50% of his chances directly at the keeper.

Re: Highlights Newport
Kellman is hitting the weights, seen him down the David Lloyd in Southend but also does sh.t loads of sit ups aswell.
Maybe he should take Moncur up there with him

We’re f*cked if we keep on giving away 3 goals for every two shots on target teams muster against us.Mistadobalina wrote: ↑Wed Aug 14, 2024 11:47 am Close defeat to promotion favourites where we should have got a result, handed a team a heavy defeat, Kelman has returned in excellent form = we're f*cked.

Re: Highlights Newport
Because we know this is going to be a tougher season than last season . Playing against better teams this season we're going to get severely punished playing with a keeper that so far doesn't look good enough .
