Going by this performance, Brynn is a lot better.

Still a long way to go this season, hopefully this is just a blip

Hope this is a one off but he’s been poor throughout

On this one game, Howes is better. Really hoping Hemming plays better next game. He went down for the first goal like a sack of spuds, hasn’t commanded the box and fluffed a simple catch for their second. He’s been bloody awful.

Can't judge him after one game but this has been a horror show of a debut. Aside from both goals he's looked nervy as f*** all match.

Hope Lemmings gets better.

Ling will be sweating now. Anymore mistakes and he must get someone better before the window shuts.

He’s not L1 standard.

We need to get a replacement in now and send him back.

His distribution was poor. He flapped at one cross he should have collected. He looked nervous and out of his depth.

Doesn’t help that he’s spent 3 years in a farmers league north of the border

Maybe give him at least 1.5 games before calling for him to be sent back?

Sure. I can wait another 1/2 game if you like but I’m still going to reach the same conclusion. Might as well save ourselves the additional goal or two he’ll throw in.

Ok, I accept there’s a possibility that today was a complete blip but I just can’t see it.

On today's performance I'm concerned about Hemming's . Hopefully it was just a bad day at the office but you can be sure that if Howes had made those mistakes today this messageboard would have nailed him to the wall . I would give Howes a run out on Tuesday night and see how he gets on . If Zech keeps playing like he did today then we're going to need Sam to be up and running .

Not sure how good Howes is as a number 8

Let's hope he's got his bad decisions done in one game because the two goals conceded were about the level I expected from the Niger U17 women's side.



Very disappointed to see that first one go in. He seemed to just dive over it for no real reason.

On the subject of loan keepers v. Perm - Yeovil had a knackered of having a loan keeper for about 5 years in a row. It did them ok from memory going up from L2 to the Championship. Just depends on the quality of the keepers.

First game, maybe nerves, only worrying bit was the mistake a few minutes before

No second chances here - he was shiiittte

I expect he'll get another game or two to prove himself. We don't have much time if a replacement is needed. Not sure there'd be much point swapping him out for Howes.
