And with no No1 choice keeper in the door …
At what stage in the next 3 weeks do we
start to panic and give Rhys Wilmot a call
to see if he’s available??

Just rang him. No go I’m afraid although he did say Peter Wells is still available?

I fear you may be right LSN,
Ashby-Hammond wasn’t really tested and made a bad mistake up in Edinburgh so he’s not on the plane to Spain,
Maybe Howes will start the season as we have until 31st August to bring in a replacement if Howes really isn’t up to it.

We don't,
Wellens isn't to worried about a goalkeeper. He intends to dominate the ball & rely on outfield players for results.

It will be another loan GK I think. Don't see us starting with Howes in between the sticks

Sol Brynn not got anywhere. Two other goalies played in friendlies for Middlesborough so far.

What's Howes distribution like? You don't get a feel for it in any highlights.

It was roughly 3 weeks before the start of the season we signed Brynn last season and he joined up with the squad in Spain.
It seems like we’re waiting for a team to let a young keeper leave on loan after having some pre-season with them. I hope its Radek Vitek from United.

Wouldn't surprise me if it was Sol again too

After what Swimmer said I wouldn’t be surprised to see Sol back with us .
