Will we sign him/ Apparently been training with us a while & played last 2 matches. Under contract at Fulham so bit odd he has played as a trialist?

Has to be because we’re not sure. Which is a really worrying place to be with your first choice keeper.
I can understand trialling someone who’s out of contract and not a played for a while, or coming back from injury, and you want to assess whether they’re back to their previous level. But this just reeks of desperation.

Should be getting Radek Vitek on loan from United

Not sure desperation is the right word. Probably want to make certain. Played for a lot of Eng under age groups & is at Fulham so no bunny

He was hardly tested last night at St Albans

Hasn't been too bad (apart from that horror pass against Hearts to gift them their goal) but I would be disappointed if he came in as our number to be honest.

Aah, apologies, didn't realise he had experience in proper football last season.
So why the heck is he on an extended trial? Bizarre.

31 goals conceded in only 18 games doesn't fill me with any confidence .

Let in 75 goals the season before in 45 games for Aldershot, hope we're checking his back for RSI in the medical.

Exactly what happened with Ollie O'Neil. Trained with us while under contract with Fulham. Then we signed him.

Yeh but he might be good with a good defence behind him but only time will tell

Not half as disappointed as Sam Howes.

He might be even better with a good defence in front of him.

Either way he doesn’t sound good enough . I’d be extremely disappointed if we signed him . We need better.

Don’t think he should be judged on his voice , his performances would be more appropriate

Here we go again, poor bloke hasn’t even signed and fans on this board are already ripping him to bits.
Get off the guys back.
If Luca Ashby-Hammond is our new Gk let’s welcome him and wish him all the best.
Seriously unless every signing we make is a prem league superstar, they are deemed as a failure and a bad signing before they have even played for us.

We should have replaced LV with experienced quality.

People need to get real with their expectations. When we lost Lawrence Vigouroux, we were never going to get a replacement keeper of the same quality and experience. Personally I would be happy if we got Sol Brynn back. Sol and also Shaq for that matter could still be on our radar. Parent clubs probably reassessing them in preseason friendlies.
