We’ve had two MPs murdered over here in recent years, others attacked, Farage had things thrown at him during the election campaign. We’ve all got to be democrats above everything else, regardless of whether one likes or agrees with a politician. no attack on democracy is funny, glad he survived, great defiant fist in air as he was led away. Well done Biden and everyone else condemning it – as they should of course – can only hope it improves the atmosphere in the US, not sure it will though.

Nonetheless he didn't need it because he's already beating Biden in the polls . It's speculated that even New York could flip red . Anyway we should say a prayer of thanks that he wasn't killed because if he was , in my opinion 80 million Americans would have gone apeshit and potentially sparked a civil war

The government’s adviser on political violence has written to the home secretary asking to investigate the intimidation of candidates during the general election.

Lord Walney is suggesting there could have been a "concerted campaign by extremists".He is urging Yvette Cooper and Security Minister Dan Jarvis to commission a short inquiry to find out if groups in different constituencies were working together and to document what he calls the "dark underbelly" of abuse.
