Piggot Replacemrnt

RW said we need 5 new additions this week, then Piggot left , so I presume he will be replaced? We only have 2 strikers and a boy on loan , we need more than that to cover injuries and choices on the bench . I still think we need a senior striker in this squad . Against Hornchurch Dan looked a different class to the others . Kelman should shape up to replace Ruel.

Last Summer I was hoping we’d sign Bonne but at Gillingham and then Cambridge on loan he did nothing.

Time seems to be a relative concept to RW. I've lost count of the number of times since he's been manager that he's implied in a DD interview that a new player was arriving that week. They invariably seem to arrive later.

He was only on loan at Cambridge. He returned to Gillingham and was released by them in May. So far he is without a club.

From all accounts, he needs to slim down and do his best to get himself back to full fitness

Dan did look good the other night, but it’s very concerning that if he gets injured, as he did last pre season, I think , then we are seriously fcuked .
There’s still a month to go until Bolton and hopefully Lingy has his coffee machine working full steam ahead.

Why would anyone want a pigott replacement. Give his wage to a charity, it'd do more good

I would be really surprised if we don't end up with at least one for Bournemouth given the Harrold link

His name was Dan Adjei2. I wouldn’t mind him back but he’s not a 9 and that’s what we really need.
After watching everyone have 45 minutes today, Agyei is so far ahead of any of our other options. Kelman tries and runs around a lot but just doesn’t have the physical presence, pace or skill to trouble defences. Perkins is seriously raw and nowhere near starting league games. I was right in that DJ could definitely do a job as the 9 if needed. But we need a proper alternative to Agyei.

This is actually a really good idea (probably won't be able to get Kane himself but Spurs have lots of good young forwards they will be loaning out)
