Lets face it, we've got no chance of buying El Miz. Let get some suggestions to Martin up, we know he's a secret reader.

By coincidence there is a converted midfielder called Sam Ling who might fit in well

Keenan Appiah-Forson
Young CM from West Ham, spent season on loan with Daggers last season, would be a very good addition to our midfield.

I would hope Ling has a list of players we are looking at. If not, we are in trouble

He’s probably down to his 5th option by now, however I think we only need one box to box midfielder as I would expect RW to play Gailbraith further forward possibly in the number 10 position?

This from Wikipedia on Fuchs:
On 12 May 2024, the club [Peterborough] announced he would be released in the summer when his contract expired "after a stop-start campaign due to injuries".
83 games between the Posh and Dundee without scoring.

Freddie Potts. 20 year old CDM at West Ham. 42 appearances on loan at Wycombe last season, so fits the second loan criteria.

Good shout! Although it's strange that Pompey decided against activating a 12 month extension to his contract, despite the manager clearly wanting him to stay, and instead offered revised terms making him a free agent.
