Burnley wouldn’t expect us to pay his full wage.

This makes sense now - they’ve had him for a year to work on him, let him have some L1 game time so he’s ready to play if they need to recall him.

They obviously need to trim their wage bill, so it's not impossible they'll let him go on loan. But then again, they might move on one of Trafford or Muric first and then realise they need to keep Vigs as back up... and he'll be pleased to stay and get some genuine Championship minutes.
