With one year left of his contract, I am ok with that. Lets use the money to sign Idris for £ 350 000.

So if you were Huddersfield why would you not wait a season .? Anyway , in the unlikely event this is true the club should tell Huddersfield to get stuffed .

It might be a wind up, but if they need a new midfielder why wait a season? They have money.

We would be having a great Summer if we lost Galbraith hot on the heels of losing our top goal scorer .

Time to offer him an extended contract. He will be worth a lot more at the end of this season.

Would really hate to see him go. But cannot believe he could go for less than a million. Such an exciting young player - I've been looking forward to this season with Ethan part of it.

Our most improved player as the season went on. This would be bad news and unless Ling gets round to signing some quality replacements we are in the merde next season.

Peterborough wouldn't sell their good players for less than a million and neither should we. Don't believe this rumour (maybe in January though) but it's high time Orient started getting proper fees for their players not letting them go on the cheap.

Sounds a good idea as surely he could be replaced by a kid with no experience on a season loan from a big club.
Everyone’s a winner!

I will be very surprised if Galbraith hasn`t got a release clause in his contract.

We have to say no, he’s not for sale . We’ve only just got him , we need to build not act like a second hand car dealer . Losing El Miz is bad enough but if we let Galbraith go as well , we will be like a car without an engine . We can’t stop clubs coming in, but we need to be robust and not little Leyton Orient . Remind Huddersfield
That they are in the same league so clear off !

This is basically what Nigel has talked about. Signing young promising players from bigger clubs and then selling them on.
It might sting to see a promising player like Galbraith leave but if there’s any substance to this, 500k is massive amount for us and he’s replaceable. The same thing will happen with O’Neill next year.

Is £500k massive for a L1 player sale? Look at the numbers Peterborough were talking about for Kyprianou and this figure seems far too cheap in comparison.
The Peterborough model is a good one but only if you get big fees for the assets to fund the next batch you want to bring in and keep the squad ticking over in the meantime.
I fully expect us to sell this year but the fees need to be way better than what we usually get.
