That's a grim lineup as it stands, 5-6 quality senior pros required to avoid a battering.

Also no way Archibald will be playing anytime soon so swap him out for O'Neill

Archibald won't be ready to return from injury until around Christmas time. You shouldn't have included him

Perking not happy with this player let's hope that the next forward in the building is a bit better

Could argue over the 4 CBs all day long, doubt it’ll be those 2.

ONeill/Archibald another one up for debate.

I hope Obeiro is challenging for a starting spot in place of Pratley very, very soon as well. I can see this being a big season for the kid.

But that’s it. Other than that, the team picks itself. Which shows just how weak the squad is until we get all these new signings in, whenever that may be. And these new signings need to be players ready to contribute immediately, not more untried and untested kids.

The starting XI needs a new keeper, new left back and new 6/8 in midfield but otherwise is pretty decent. These are the three important acquisitions.

You had all better register your phone numbers with the club just in case. But please bring your own kit.

Indeed, we've not had a chance to try the pairing yet but Simpson and Happe would look like the two, it's one area that you can confidently say we have L1 quality in the starters and the backups.

Agree on the big 3 signings though I'd say we also need another fullback who provide proper competition for James and keep Galbraith away from RB (not because he's bad there, but because he's too useful in midfield to waste in defence)

Out wide and upfront we have no options at all really so need multiple signings there to avoid falling into the same situation as last season where one injury to Agyei leaves us completely nullified as an attacking threat.

I'm actually dreading next season, I dont think this squad is good enough to keep Orient in the L1

Until we hit the first game I'm hoping there's a few big signings to come in that will change the situation considerably. Conversely if all we get are inexperienced youths that aren't threatening the current starting XI I agree it's going to be a long season.

Agree it’s too early to call, and it feels like L1 is tougher next season so the first priority is always to survive.
I’d like to think we will finish higher than Burton / Cambridge/ Crawley/ Exeter/ Mansfield/ Shrewsbury, and have a fair chance with Bristol Rovers/ Northampton/ Stevenage/ Wycombe, and there are other teams not mentioned we finished above last season.
But close season is always an uncertain time.

Touch and go I suspect, saw a post where he's doing a pre-pre season doing what looked like running drills and basic ball work. Then have to see how he reacts to full training and contact I imagine

Team for Bolton

Kid on loan from a big club

James Becks Simmon Kid on loan from a big club

Obiero. Kid on loan from a big club

O’Neill. Kids on loan from a big club

Agyei

Sub
Lots of kids on loan from big clubs.

Ritchie said I’m excited to develop other clubs talent for them.
This is a great economic option for the club.

The staffs optimism on Sanders will play a part on our signings. If he can stay fit and they deem him good enough I can see him starting in midfield or in the ten role. And we have ample midfielders assuming we sign an el miz replacement.

I’m excited by our wide players. We should be very dynamic up top but we desperately need depth

As you say there's some quality in attack but only with the first choice players and no options beyond that.

O'Neill / Agyei / Graham is a quality attack but you've got two in there with question marks over fitness and nothing on the bench at the same level to rotate them with.

Midfield all hinges on El Miz / new CDM, can't afford to get that one wrong.

Our CBs are strong but fullbacks weak, need the pacey athletic player Richie talked about to be signed. Lack of a #1 GK at present speaks for itself and needs sorting.

I agree . Currently we're not good enough and with the prospect of shortly losing Galbraith we could be even weaker .

Two signings in and that starting XI hasn't changed, Kelman takes the place of Pegrum on the bench

My team forecast spot on so far

2 kids on loan from bigger clubs
3 more kids loans are due.
