The uncertainty certainly won't go away will it. Hope for them that they get matters sorted.

Different this time than the umpteen times they've been in front of the judge before. From what I recall, the judge got fed up with it going round in circles so demanded that the club change hands before the end of this month.
To get Ron Martin to budge, the council/consortium said Ron could have Fossetts Farm and redevelop it. Now it would seem that the council aren't happy with what he has planned, so could scupper the consortium taking over the club.

I was talking to a fan yesterday who has bee a season tkt holder for 30 years. He said there are so many ifs and buts surrounding the takeover he cannot see conclusion being agreed before court on 26 th June. Martin apparently still overs his lawyers 500 k for fees on previous court hearings. They have taken him to court and is only one part of the court appearance on the 26th. As the report states there are still coucill concerns over Fossets Farm housing development

Don't bet in it, the council will be protecting their own interests and some within might not give a damn about what happens to the club.

Just hit with demand for £1m bond from the NL as an assurance they'll see out the coming season.
I wouldn't be surprised if that's the final straw for the consortium trying to sort out this mess. who already stand to lose a packet if the sale isn't agreed.

Seems the takeover from the Aussie-led consortium has finally happened, hopefully they will eventually get back to League 2 where they belong.
