Responsible for more correct decisions more often than not. Must ensure fans in the stadium have access to replays however. Not to say that the folks at Stockley Park do not need to raise their game.

Proud of what? It was used by other leagues and fas before our own.

My main problem with it is that it seems to have made people even more obsessed with officials and poor decision making. You would think pgmol were some kind of cult of satanic child murderers the way they are talked about. The cats out the bag, var has to stay as it's generally made decision making better, but better will never be enough for the people who think it's possible to be fully 'consistent'.

PL teams all bottling it. Wonder what the motivation/sweetener was?

I expect they'll all still be complaining about it throughout next season.

Probably getting more right decisions than wrong ones.

Most people recognise that refereeing is a tough job. Especially, those that have tried it. The majority of refs welcome VAR as they want the correct decision to emerge and they realise they themselves are not “infallible”

Unlike football for VAR, not sure that rugby tweaked it's rules in a similar manner. It's often the rules changes that have generated controversy. Also not sure rugby players simulate/cheat to the same degree.
