Full or Part Refund Virgin Trains

Just a heads up to any of you who where delayed via Virgin Trains yesterday if you where delayed by 30 mins either way you can apply for 25% off your fare 1 hr or more you will get a full refund
If you got your tickets via the Virgin website you should get refunded automatically if not apply on the Virgin website

I received a full refund for outgoing and incoming journey 👍

Shame about the result😂😂😋

I was told 25% yesterday but I didn’t check it to be fair

I’m sure it’s 50% half hour to an hour and 100% for over an hour

Yep your both right apologies

Once you're delayed for more than 30 minutes, you're entitled to compensation.
...
Compensation breakdown
30 mins+ 50% of Single ticket or 25% of a Return.
60 mins+ 100% of Single ticket or 50% of a Return.
2 hours+ A full refund on your ticket price.

Will be applying.

That journey back was one of my worst ever. One end of the carriage, pissed up Orient fans, the other end, a kid screaming for an hour (not blaming the kid or the parents, they were trying and the poor thing seemed very distressed). The aircon then gave up and so did half the lights and the power to the plug sockets, all with a re route adding an hour onto the journey. My Camden hells I gave into buying was the only decent thing. Never thought I was getting off that train!

Ah you where re routed as well
Via Birmingham was it?
My train broke down right outside Birmingham electrical fault should of been back at Euston for 19.22 we rolled in at 21.36

I enjoyed the extra hour of boozing on the train and the tour of the West Midlands. Even better that I'll be getting my money back.
