Understandable jitters after a dreadful result.

Most reasonable supporters know that Ross has 10-12 games to prove himself.

And how many points adrift will we be by then, we have just got promoted and cannot be relegated again through lack of early action . Two more defeats on the trot and he has to go !!

I suppose 10-12 games is with the assumption that we will get a few results in there.

If we’re losing week in, week out 4 weeks into the season then yes, a solution should be found quicker.

Essentially, I’m not saying that it won’t be until we’ve lost 10 games on the bounce that change should be made..

The next 2/3 weeks will be very telling.

Absolutely this . We've gone through far too much to get relegated back down to the National League . That has to be avoided at all costs.

Ross might have 10 weeks but we only have 3 until the transfer window shuts. Ling's contribution (or lack of if no further signings come in) will be just as important, if not more so.

So you want FB back. I suggest that you find a basketcase to support. Then you can be happy.

We have 1 more point than this time last year and some of you are cacking themselves.

We'd already played our most dangerous rivals away this time last year and took 2 points off them, completely different scenario.

We're not cacking ourselves . The manor of the defeat yesterday to poor opposition and with no experienced manager has us concerned.

Ok. Its an over reaction then to one bad result at a ground we rarely win at.

Huh?

Macclesfield town have only lost 3 of their last 12 games. Campbell has improved them a lot. How they can be described as relegation favourites with that form beggars belief

Yesterday we where the poor opposition

As Justin proved, a good man manager can get so much more from a squad than an average one. The core is there. Just need the driver.

Let’s get the first half dozen games over before we call for big changes. See what it looks like then and we will have a better feel for the strength of the L2 opposition. No panic yet for me.

Too late by then as we'll be locked out of signings to fix it until January. The game yesterday showed what impact getting players in can have... Macclesfield gone from not being able to field a bench to beating us comfortably with goals from the new arrivals.

If we had all the players in then yes it's a matter of getting them to gel and adjust tactics. As it stands work needs to be done on recruitment to give Ross a fighting chance of making a success of his role.

From the interview yesterday, the club are still trying to recruit but for whatever reason we haven’t been able to secure anyone.
