Great for the dressing room and will be handy to bring on to see out games. Can’t see him playing a full 90 too often though.

He looked like he was running in treacle as the season progressed. Can’t imagine he will suddenly be Bambi in August. Heart over head this one.

Yep, everyone's been saying this for the past 2 years.

Richly deserved..
I thought in a few games towards the end
of the season that Prats was one of only a
few that looked like he was putting in a
full shift ( especially Derby away). ..
Well done and as I said richly deserved

Yep, everyone's been saying this for the past 2 years.
And they’ll continue to say it for the next 10!

Good news. Less so for his ability (which is still very good btw) but it’s a young squad and he is clearly a true professional who will be a good role model to the kids, as well as playing a role in calming down the team in key moments on the pitch.
Think we will add a few experienced pros for those reasons this summer

Really pleased he has signed, great team player and a good example to the younger players in the squad.

Happy with this. He has been brilliant for us. His fitness program must be pretty expansive.
Watch and learn, Mr. Moncur.

Great News. Mrs NES is very happy as she loves hearing the Darren Pratley song.

There are some famous names in that list and a surprising number of names above Prats who have played for the Os at sometime in their career.

Offers very little as a player. Worth keeping around for his experience.

Personally I wouldn’t have kept him as he is taking up a wage, which is contrary to what Wellens was saying in his interview about spending money wisely. Having a fit player on the pitch is far better than the dressing room, unless having him on the coaching staff.

You have to assume he will be taking up some of Harrold’s duties in the coaching set up

He's still a good player , no doubt about that but I still think he should start thinking about taking up a role in coaching .

Has offered more than enough on the pitch when fit.
My only concern would be the amount of times he’s unavailable due to some spurious illness or another.
And yes, as others have said, I’d expect him to start coaching duties this coming season too.

I don’t understand when Wellens says “we have to spend our budget wisely “ so now we have 3 passengers maybe 4 when you won’t see much of Theo this season,Graham won’t see many games, either will Sanders and now they resign a guy who’s 40 and a bit player and all this and we still have Moncur and Lester in the building? Hope your right about the coaching.?

My guess is Moncur and Pigott are the players who have told they are free to find another club .
