Yes, it's light years away from when thousands used to walk through the murk and mist to watch their beloved football teams up and down the country.

Nothing if you've got sky.

I'd sooner they lift the ban than have games moved to different times/days.

Gonna be a poo poo show of random Friday/Sunday kick offs at 11am for a few thousand people to watch on sky sports.

Gshaw will be pleased though...

Not happy with Sky getting their claws back into EFL at all.

My great hope was seeing the end of the 3pm blackout with Orient running their own domestic streaming service and getting all the income. Alas all that independence gone for a few quid from Sky that will be swallowed up in increased player wages.

Will we still have an International streaming service with Dave, Matt and Ollie?

I didn't share that exact hope - but I do agree with you on one point: the extra income is likely to go on increased wages. None of this is likely to improve any Club's competitive position.

If you want that, Man United and Liverpool will get the same and Orient will get next to f*** all in tv revenue.

Which Orient fans would be watching Man Utd v Liverpool? Let's be realistic none of the big 6 fans are going to be choosing to watch Orient if their Prem side are on regardless of whether it's Sky or club streaming.

Those who want to go to the ground will still go as they value the atmosphere and social elements.

Those who like travelling to away games to see different grounds and soak up the atmosphere still will.

You’re missing the point. Without the biggest clubs, the tv revenue is next to nothing. The tv money gets filtered down to Orient this way.

Well given the Prem still don't want to agree the money share with the EFL next season's Champions League looks uncannily like the Superleague concept there's an even greater chance they'll pull away entirely in the not too distant future.

EFL clubs will need to think of how they could rework their finances in the event the big 6 waltz off into their own little club sold out to the Saudi / Qatari moneymen

It won’t happen. It was the one thing that unified fans across the country to protest (some more than others).

Might be a good filter and lead to a situation where we only have REAL FANS attending the the games

Great news for people who love to applaud exaggerated attendance numbers. Imagine this flashing up on your screen at home... "today's audience is 342,911!" (186 people get up from their armchairs to applaud themselves)

I hope you're right, the FA Cup Replay battle is the next step in that fight against the greed of those at the top of the pyramid

No more games will be moved until Jan…oh but these might because of an international break, at short notice (one that’s only about 5 weeks away). Poor form.
Feel for burton fans having to get to London by 12.30 11 days before Xmas
