Not happy with Sky getting their claws back into EFL at all.

My great hope was seeing the end of the 3pm blackout with Orient running their own domestic streaming service and getting all the income. Alas all that independence gone for a few quid from Sky that will be swallowed up in increased player wages.

I didn't share that exact hope - but I do agree with you on one point: the extra income is likely to go on increased wages. None of this is likely to improve any Club's competitive position.

Which Orient fans would be watching Man Utd v Liverpool? Let's be realistic none of the big 6 fans are going to be choosing to watch Orient if their Prem side are on regardless of whether it's Sky or club streaming.

Those who want to go to the ground will still go as they value the atmosphere and social elements.

Those who like travelling to away games to see different grounds and soak up the atmosphere still will.

Well given the Prem still don't want to agree the money share with the EFL next season's Champions League looks uncannily like the Superleague concept there's an even greater chance they'll pull away entirely in the not too distant future.

EFL clubs will need to think of how they could rework their finances in the event the big 6 waltz off into their own little club sold out to the Saudi / Qatari moneymen
