Extend the contracts for Agyei & Galbraith

Post by PKM »

If we’re looking to build, like RW signing a three year deal, then surely we need to extend both Agyei & Galbraith’s contracts.
Just one year left on each.
Especially Galbraith, so young, so much talent.
Otherwise we could end up with a Smyth situation again.
Another year on top of existing deal, possibly plus two for Galbraith please.

Of course you can ask players if they wish to extend their contracts but you can only do so if they wish to do it.

Absolutely agree, but often it’s an improved deal for a longer period of time, but ‘break’ clause in it, like transfer release fee. In these cases everyone wins, player has more security, better earnings, club hopefully keep the player for longer but, if not, get adequately compensated if they leave.

I think Galbraith is an outstanding player who’s only going to get better and Agyei, if he stays fit, will rip defences apart in L1.

Both players outstanding and we have to build around them. Looking forward to seeing Jordan Graham play in the same starting lineup as them.

Graham is a good winger but has a past history of being rather injury prone.

Couldn’t agree more, it’s a no brainer.
