Ross is a good coach but not a no 1. Was joint manager when Swindon got relegated & hardly inspired when Davis got sacked. Keep Ross & Danny on but get an experienced no 1 in. Get Chris P to replace

While I completely agree with that , I doubt we would go for a manager who is currently still employed. We would probably hire somebody who's already available like JE was .

There is nothing in Powell's past career that suggests he would be a success. Bizarre choice.

I was putting his name forward a while back but his stint at Southend was surprisingly very disappointing.

One defeat & already some want a new manager??
Not sure what kind of jobs some of you do but if if your bosses were questioning what your doing after one week you would have the right hump.
Give the man a chance.
Stability is important for the time being & Kent already said if it doesn't work out the coaching staff would revert to their original positions, that's why the word INTRIM is used.
I just don't understand some on here's negativity all the time?
Just hope Ross doesn't read some of the garbage on here.

Attention seeking drivel. Go and do something useful.

Ross needs to be given 12-15 Games before any decisions are made, but unfortunately yesterday’s defeat, and performance, which even Ross himself has criticised, will bring out a few knee jerk reactions.
I also think the players themselves need to take a look at each other as some of our defending looked poor yesterday, from the highlights I’ve seen.
I don’t think Brill had much chance with the first but the third goal was poor defending as the Macclesfield player was given an easy header from a corner.
I think it’s a wake up call for everybody at the club but hopefully we can bounce back in the two games we have this week.

He hasn't, but everyone deserves a chance.
Remember there was a reason they were appointed which made complete sense in very difficult & unfortunately unique circumstances.
I think Ross will be the first to admit & decide to step aside if things aren't going right rather than be told by above as he stated he didn't want the position in the first place.
But as I said most jobs give you a trial period so let him at least have a go.

As for the person saying I'm attention seeking, not really sure what your talking about but as I've been going over the Orient now for 50 years now I'm entitled to an opinion like everyone else.
I just don't understand why so many people are so negative all the time?

If you look at 'my attention seeking' post you'll see that comment wasn't directed at you but at the originator of the thread. Your opinion, on the other hand, is perfectly reasonable. Friends again? xx

Pretty much agree with you, although I’d say it’s more 10-12 games.

In my mind the ridiculous “interim” title actually shorterns Ross’ probation. If the “interim” solution isn’t working in 10 games then management need to find a permanent solution sharpish.

Ross needs to be given time, but I don’t think he will prove to be the answer. Reckon you could do a lot worse than sol campbell

Keeping Macclesfield up was nothing short of miraculous. Done on a zero budget with wages going unpaid for weeks. On to a club like us would be the logical next step up for him.

Re Ross, it’s way too early to judge, and as said by others he needs time. Understand the appointment in the circumstances, and personally I don’t feel that I know enough about him to form an opinion of his managerial capabilities yet, so jury out is my stance. Good luck to him in a difficult situation.

Even after a defeat though I’m just grateful we’re back in the EFL! And I have no doubt that the owners will do whatever they need to do to ensure we stay there.
