I too find it strange about the slow build up play. Is he or is he not the coach. He’s had over two seasons to get the team to move the ball more quickly and yet in a lot of interviews he often has a go at the players for not doing so. Is he covering his own backside or are the players just not listening?
Old players aren’t malleable, they will revert to old habits. He wants the ball forward through the lines quickly but they f*** about passing it around the back
