He is showing what it truly takes to win power, and some people seem to be surprised and disappointed by that as if it's news to them.

Assuming he does win, then the Labour party machinery will kick into gear, with all that entails. You'll get some policies that make things less sh*t, possibly a few really good domestic policies, as well as lots of nonsense stuff and counterproductive meddling. But there will be no substantial shift in the general socio-economic framework and direction of travel.
